She was born July 31, 1899, in Appanoosc County to Henry and Georgia McCann Foster. She married Claude A. Wren in August 1926, in Moravia. He died March 25, 1984. She is survived by three sons, Lawrence Max of Indianola, Dale Clifford of Cypress, Calif., and Francis LeRoy of Aurora, Colo; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Leona Eaton of Centerville.
