Description	:	Mrs. Lena Bush Dies Suddenly Monday Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Lena Bush, oldest continuous resident of Knox county, who passed away suddenly at her home Monday morning. Services were held at the home at 1:30 and at the Methodist church at 2:00. The Rev. H.F. Beebe officiated. Interment was in Greenwood cemetery beside her husband. Pallbearers were James Jorgensen, Wid Turner, W.W. Fickling, Fred Diedricksen, Henry Ehrenberg and C.C. Kimble. Mrs. Bush was past 81 years of age at the time of her death. She came to this community when two years of age and shared in some of the strenuous periods of Knox county's development. She lived here continuously since her arrival, making her the oldest continuous resident of the county. Miss Lena Hengstler was born at Cedar Bluffs on Dec. 4, 1869. On May 16, 1892, she was united in holy matrimony to Fred Bush. To this union, one daughter, Lela, was born. Her early training was in the Lutheran church. After her marriage, she united with the Methodist church in Creighton and became an active member. She worked for the Sunday school and was especially efficient in arranging programs with the children. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Earl S. Odineal of Plainview; one brother, W.C.
