She attended Sanders Creek, School and graduated from Sterling High School in 1933. She was employed at Martin Lutheran Home in Sterling, Ne. She was married to Charles (Bert) White on Jan. 24, 1939 at Nebraska City, Otoe, NE. They lived and farmed in rural Sterling,NE. until 1987 when they moved to Sterling. She was a member of the St.John's Lutheran Church of Sterling. Survivors include one daughter, Charlene Blohm of Mesa, AZ. one son, Roger White and wife Janet of rural Adams, NE. three granddaughters, Debbie Wrenholt and husband Ron of Chanhassen, MN. Rachelle Kienbaum of Omaha, NE. and Gwendolynne Shelton and husband Charles of Denver, CO. nine great-grandchildren. three sisters-in-law Evalyne Walters of Sterling, Eleanor Walters of Nebraska City, NE. and Naomi (Susie) Goodwin of OR. one brother-in-law Paul White of OR. She was preceded by her parents, Henry and Sena Buss Walters, her husband Charles (Bert)who died on September 9, 1996, one great-grandson, Gene Kienbaum; three brothers, George, Walter and Homer Walters; three sisters, Jennie Buss, Anna Seele and Irene Clark. Funeral Services were held April 15, 2010 at the St.John Lutheran Church of Sterling with Pastor Mark Jamison officiating. Burial was in the Sterling Cemetery of Sterling, NE.
