He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on October 10, 1942, the son of the late Seymore and Erma (Beechler) Radcliffe. Leo proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Read More	LEO FRANK "P-NUT" FORREST, 75, of Springfield, passed away in his home, surrounded by his family on Friday evening, January 26, 2018. He was born in Chillicothe, Ohio on October 10, 1942, the son of the late Seymore and Erma (Beechler) Radcliffe. Leo proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Kenosha Auto Transport/Dallas Mavis Trucking following 34 years of dedicated service. Leo loved and lived for his family and friends. He was an avid softball player, playing until he was 74 years old, loved camping, fishing, traveling, and spending time with his friends at McDonald's on Derr Rd. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Denise G. (Elliott) Forrest, whom he cared for when she became ill; five children, Jeff (Ramyann) Forrest of Queen Creek, Arizona, Nancy (Barry) Trimble of Wisconsin, and Doug Forrest, Claressa Davis and Tiffany (Aaron) Fitzsimmons, all of Springfield; fifteen grandchildren, Sabrina, Logan, Ashlyn, Samantha, Brandy, Kylee, MacKenzie, Cheyenne, Leyenne, Dustie, Bree, Katie, Colleen, Patrick, and Molly; five great grandchildren, Lui, Mia, Leo, Jacksen, and Liam; a sister, Sherry Phillians; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Delorse Hutchinson, Wanda Walker and Sue Reyes; two brothers, Virgil "Burly" Forrest and Joe Allen Radcliffe; and several aunts and uncles. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Leo's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Vale Cemetery.
