Read More	Cloud County Cemetery Book, Volume 4, page 190 Glasco Sun, Thursday, Jan. 1, 1998, page 1: Leo Otis Wilson Died December 28 Leo Otis Wilson, the son of Christopher and Maud Cunningham Wilson, was born June 21, 1908, on a farm northeast of Glasco, Kansas. He died December 28, 1997, at the Nicol Home in Glasco at the age of 89 years. Leo grew up on a farm and attended the Eureka Country School and graduated from Glasco High School with the Class of 1928. On June 1, 1936, Leo was united in marriage with Lila Irene Horn at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glasco and three sons and two daughters were born to that union. Leo and Lila had been privileged to spend more than sixty-one years of married life together. Leo was very devoted to his vocation of farming and was very active in his community. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and served on the Federal Land Board/Production Credit Association; the Cloud County Fair Board; the rural fire department; the Soil Conservation Board, and served as a 4-H leader for many years. Survivors include his wife, Lila, of the home; three sons, Charles and his wife, Marilyn of Waco, Texas, Robert and his wife, Gloria of Beloit, and Leon of Glasco; two daughters, Ellen Paulsen of Lawrence, and Ann Beeton and her husband Ray, of Belton, Missouri; a brother, John Wilson of Glasco; two sisters, Frances Litke of Ellsworth and Mahala Carter of Jamestown; fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; twin sisters, Grace Godfry and Nelle Wilson; and three brothers, Frank, Christopher and Dick Wilson. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 30, 1997 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Glasco, Kansas with Pastor Larry Frank officiating. Music was by Rebecca Wilson, vocalist, and Virginia Halderson, organist. Casket bearers were Shawn Beeton, Mike O'Laughlin, Brian Paulsen, Christopher Wilson, Greg O'Laughlin, Steve Patton, Brice Paulsen and Timothy Wilson. Honorary pallbearers were his beloved nephews.
