Canaday Parsons He married Marguerite Brill March 2 1935 in Fort Madison. He was a former member of the Lions club, one of Birmingham's first volunteer fireman, a Birmingham mayor for several years and the first person to drive the Birmingham school bus. He worked as a mechanic at Parsons Conoco and Garage in Birmingham. Prior to retirement he worked in security at Louden's. He also worked in maintenance at Parsons College. He owned a 1924 Model T Ford which he showed in parades. He spent his entire life in birmingham. Survivors include his wife; a son, Frank of Rolla Mo a daughter, Shirley Hill of Moravia, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a sister Elizabeth Du Vall o Davenport He was preceded in deah by a brother Lester
