Description	:	Lester Parsons dies at 75 Long-time Birmingham resident Lester E Parsons, 75 died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday at Parkeview Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Birmingham United Methodist Church with the Rev David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham. Parsons was born Oct. 11, 1908 in Van Buren County, the son of J. Irwing and Martha E. Canaday Parsons. He married Edith Pratt March 15 1932 in Kahokka Mo. She survives. Other survivors include a son, James of Birmingham, a daughter Jeralee Larson of Fairfield, two grand children and one great grand child. A brother Leo H Parsons of Birmingham and a sister Elizabeth Duvall of Davenport are also living. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Burch Funeral Home in Birmingham. Memorials may be made to Birmingham United Methodist Church of Birmingham First Responders.
