Burial will be at the Hingham cemetery. Leonard was born on November 29, 1930, at Hingham, Montana, the son of John and Marion (Huestis) Chvilicek. He attended a country school near Hingham and graduated from the Hingham High School in 1949. On June 30, 1959, he married the former Loy Ann Patrick at Hingham, Montana. After their marriage, the couple lived on the family farm north of Hingham. Leonard was a member of the Havre Elks Club, Knights of Columbus, a 4-H Leader for many years, the Church Parish Council. He also taught catechism classes and was a member of Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: John and James Chvilicek. He is survived by his wife Loy Ann Chvilicek of Hingham, Montana; brothers Norbert Chvilicek of Palmer, Alaska; Lawrence E. Chvilicek of Pendleton, Oregon, Robert Chvilicek of Pahrump, Nevada, and Gerald A. Chvilicek of Woodward, Oklahoma; one sister, Alice Langel of Rudyard, Montana; children Annette Chvilicek of the family residence; Charles Chvilicek north of Hingham, Montana; Thomas Chvilicek of Helena, Montana; Jerome Chvilicek of Billings, Montana; Steven Chvilicek of Havre, Montana, and Suzann Fladager of Dell, Montana. Also three grandchildren. A scholarship is being established in agriculture research at MSU at Bozeman, Montana in Leonard's honor.
