Description	:	LeRoy Ernest William Schiermeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schiermeyer, was born at Yuma, Colorado, July 27, 1933, and he was made a Christian by receiving the holy sacrament of baptism in early infancy. When two years old he moved with his parents to Bird City, Kansas, and in February, 1938 he came with his parents to Nuckolls County, where he has lived until it pleased the Lord to take his soul to Himself into heaven. Read More	LeRoy Ernest William Schiermeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schiermeyer, was born at Yuma, Colorado, July 27, 1933, and he was made a Christian by receiving the holy sacrament of baptism in early infancy. When two years old he moved with his parents to Bird City, Kansas, and in February, 1938 he came with his parents to Nuckolls County, where he has lived until it pleased the Lord to take his soul to Himself into heaven. LeRoy was a lovable and very religious boy, who often had expressed the wish to become a missionary in the service of his Lord Jesus. But his Lord had some service designed for him higher than the service here below; and He took him to Himself, while through an apparent accident which occurred while playing, he passed away. He had attained the age of 12 years, 3 months and 13 days. The early departure of this boy is mourned by his parents, one sister, his two grandparents, eight uncles, ten aunts and 67 cousins, and a host of friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday 2 p.m. at the home, and 2:30 at the American Lutheran church, Rev. Rueter officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
