Description	:	LeRoy Troudt, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Troudt, was accidentally shot Tuesday morning about 8:30 and died yesterday afternoon at one o'clock. The boy was running a disc at their farm three miles west of town and carried a gun with him thinking he might be able to shoot some crows. He had the gun lying in his lap, and in stooping over to adjust something about the disc the gun fell onto the disc and was discharged. Read More	LeRoy Troudt, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Troudt, was accidentally shot Tuesday morning about 8:30 and died yesterday afternoon at one o'clock. The boy was running a disc at their farm three miles west of town and carried a gun with him thinking he might be able to shoot some crows. He had the gun lying in his lap, and in stooping over to adjust something about the disc the gun fell onto the disc and was discharged. The load struck the boy in the left side puncturing the intestines and badly lacerating the stomach. After the accident LeRoy stepped from the disc, drove the team home and walked into the house before he fully realized what had happened. As soon as help could be summoned he was taken to Hastings for care. He recovered from the operation and gained consciousness and there was a ray of hope for his recovery, but yesterday he gradually became weaker and passed away at one o'clock in the afternoon. The funeral service has been arranged for Friday afternoon at two o'clock and will be conducted by Beebe at the Methodist church. The Nelson Gazette, Thursday, April 22, 1926
