Description	:	Nellie Irene Meyer, one of five children of George and Bernice Crigler Troudt, was born on a farm near Nora, Nebraska, on July 6, 1908. She passed away on February 17, 1976, in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 11 days. Read More	Nellie Irene Meyer, one of five children of George and Bernice Crigler Troudt, was born on a farm near Nora, Nebraska, on July 6, 1908. She passed away on February 17, 1976, in Superior, Nebraska, at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 11 days. In 1909 the family moved to a farm west of Nelson, where Nellie grew up and attended grade and high school. June 20, 1928, she married Alfred Meyer and to his union two sons were born. They lived on a farm east of Nelson for several years and then moved to Washington State and lived there for nine years before returning to Nelson, where they have lived ever since. She had been a resident of the Nelson Good Semaritan Center for 11 years the 24th of March. Nellie was a member of the Busy Bees and a charter member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. At the time of her death she was a member of the Methodist Church of Nelson. Nellie was preceded in death by her father, one brother and one sister. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Alfred of Nelson; two sons, Larry of Kearney and Lynn of Nelson; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; her mother, Mrs. Bernice Troudt of Nelson; a sister, Mrs. Vivian Wilson of Nelson; a brother, Mr. Ivan Troudt of Nelson and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the Nelson United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Thursday, February 19. Rev. Clair Kess officiated. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery.
