Read More	LESTER LAWSON CLAIMED BY DEATH Passed Away At Johnson Creek Road Home Last Thursday HAD BEEN ENGAGED IN SEAFOOD BUSINESS Following an illness of several weeks, Mr. Lester Lawson died at his home on the Johnson's Creek road, in the suburbs, Thursday evening of last week at the age of 66. Son of the late William H. and Julia Lawson, he had lived in Asbury all his life, and was well-known and highly respected in the whole community. Mr. Lawson had been engaged in the seafood business for many years, and actively identified with until a short time before his death. He was a man of fine personality, with many warm friends who received the news of his death with sincere sorrow. Testimony of the respect in which he was held was shown by the lovely and varied floral pieces sent by relatives and friends to his home in honor of his memory. Funeral services were held in Asbury Methodist Church Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, with the pastor, Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, conducting them. Interment was in Asbury cemetery. Pallbearers were members of the Adult Bible Class of the church. Besides his widow, Mrs. Anna Rebecca Lawson, he is survived by two sons, William Grant Lawson, of Washington. D. C., and George Edgar Lawson, of the U. S. Navy, and two daughters, Iva Jean Lawson and Stella Jane Lawson. One brother, Fred Lawson, and one sister, Mrs. Ann (Lit) Sterling, also survive.
