Description	:	LEWIS AND DAGNY VINJE Lewis Vinje, the son of Thomas Vinje and Oline Aune, was born in 1902 on the farm in Eidsvold Township. He grew up on the farm and attended rural school. In 1928 he married Dagny Lillegard, the daughter of Mathias Lillegard and Oline Green. Dagny was born in 1907 and grew up on a farm in rural Landa. Lewis and Dagny farmed his parents' farm in Eidsvold. They were faithful members of the Mouse River Lutheran Church and Lewis was very active in the affairs of Eidsvold Township. Lewis died in 1966. Dagny lives on the farm... Read More	LEWIS AND DAGNY VINJE Lewis Vinje, the son of Thomas Vinje and Oline Aune, was born in 1902 on the farm in Eidsvold Township. He grew up on the farm and attended rural school. In 1928 he married Dagny Lillegard, the daughter of Mathias Lillegard and Oline Green. Dagny was born in 1907 and grew up on a farm in rural Landa. Lewis and Dagny farmed his parents' farm in Eidsvold. They were faithful members of the Mouse River Lutheran Church and Lewis was very active in the affairs of Eidsvold Township. Lewis died in 1966. Dagny lives on the farm now run by her son Luther. They had two sons: Donovan of Newburg; and Luther, on the home farm. He attended grade and high school in Landa and N.D.S.U.-Bottineau Branch. He worked with his father on the farm and drove gravel truck and School bus until he went to Grand Forks to work on construction for Baukol Construction Company. Elgie Klingenberg was born January 26, 1932, in Roland Township to John and Anna Klingenberg. She attended schools in Bottineau, Fergus Falls and graduated from Dakota Lutheran in Minot where her folks lived at the time. She graduated from N.D.S.U.-BB and worked at Ace Hardware in Bottineau and Loft Tire Service in Grand Forks. Donovan and Elgie were married December 26, 1954 and lived in Grand Forks for a time. They then moved to Minot to work with Baukol, then to Westhope, and then to Newburg where Donovan has worked for Amerada Hess for twenty-five years. Elgie worked for twelve years at the Westhope Home for the Aged. Craig, Mark, Diane, Kevin and Todd were all raised in Newburg and graduated from Newburg High School. Craig and DeeAnn (Dordahl) have two sons, Ryan and Curt, and live in Bismarck. Mark and Kris (Kemp) have been living in Watford City and are attending St. Cloud International College in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. Diane is working at St. Alexis Hospital in Bismarck as an L.P.N. Kevin is attending Minot State College, working for U.P.S., and planning to marry Bonita Opland on December 31, 1983. Todd is a civil engineering student at N.D.S.U. in Fargo and working at home summers for Amerada Hess.
