He is listed as Wilson Y. in the other census records and as William Fleming in Lieuella's death certificate which may be seen in ancestry.com. --------------- Obituary From Ottumwa Daily Courier, Tuesday, September 19, 1950, Page 21: Mrs. Lieuella Howell, 83, of 705 East Vine street, died at the home Monday at 4:30 p.m. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Fleming, she was born April 7, 1867, in Appanoose county. Her marriage to James D. Howell took place January 23, 1887. She had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 10 years and was a member of the Christian church. Her husband preceded her in death October 27, 1940; also two daughters in infancy. Mrs. Howell is survived by two sons, Paul Howell and Junior Howell, both of Moulton; six daughters, Mrs. Cam Shelton, Mrs. Eatus Spurgeon, Mrs. Roy Spurgeon, Mrs. Charles Stansberry, and Mrs. Milton Moble, all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Otis Brookshier of Wapello; 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Johnson funeral chapel in charge of the Rev. Donald H. Gill of the First Christian church. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery. Pallbearers will be O.E. Carlson, Howard Beach, Clell Swarts, Ronald Fouts, C.O. Dooley, and Lester Kerby.
