She was born Dec. 8, 1898, at Moulton to James and Luella Fleming Howell. She had lived in Ottumwa since 1942. She was a member of Davis Street Christian Church and Golden Agers' Club. She married Charles Stansberry Dec. 24, 1914. He died in 1964. The funeral will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Michael Clifton of Davis Street Christian Street officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Parson, Lester Kerby, Basil Livingston, Russell Jackson, Lee Reynolds, and Chris Thompson.
