Gilbert of Chicago and by her sister. Mrs. Gilbert is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hipes, who formerly lived in Villisca, sister of Mrs. Fred Bridwell and H. T. Hopes of Villisca. Gilbert of Chicago and by her sister. Mrs. Gilbert is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hipes, who formerly lived in Villisca, sister of Mrs. Fred Bridwell and H. T. Hopes of Villisca. The body was taken to the Wolfe Funeral Chapel where it remained until after the funeral services held there at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. W. F. Clayburg conducted the service and Mrs. Cy Underwood sang, accompanied on the piano by Mrs. J. L. Wheeler. The pall bearers were Carl R. Taylor, Harold F. Winter, John L. Palmquist, Louis Enarson, Frank Umpires, and Edward Smith, and burial was in the Villisca Cemetery. Estella Hipes Gilbert was born at Spring Valley, Minnesota in September 1885. When a child of 11 years she moved with her parents to Villisca where she grew to womanhood. She has made her home in Chicago for the last several years. Her father, mother, one brother and one sister preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Creston; and H. T. Hipes, Villisca and four sisters, Mrs. Gill, Preston, Minnesota; Mrs. J. L.
