Condolences for the family can be left at higginsfuneralhomelc.com. Lillian Mae (Lech) Maciejewski was born May 26, 1934 to John and Gertrude (Shotkoski) Lech in Elyria, Nebraska. She graduated from Ord High School in 1952 and worked at a floral shop until her marriage to Dennis F. Maciejewski on November 24, 1956. Dennis and Lillian built their lives on the farm and were recognized by the Knights of -Ak-Sar-Ben Foundation with the Nebraska Pioneer Farm Award. Lillian loved children and was a “babysitting mother” to many others for over 30 years. She loved flowers and their vegetable gardens and was known for sharing their beauty and abundance with others. We all loved her baked and canned goods. Lillian was a faithful servant at St. Josephat’s Catholic Church, was a member of the Sodality Rosary, enjoyed participating and supporting the Sherman County Fair and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Dennis of 64 years; children, Cindy (Tim) Molko of Rochester, MN; Christie (John) Arkle of Kearney, NE; Chuck (Colleen) of Elkhorn, NE; Ron of Parker, CO; Duane (Jodi) of Omaha, NE and Sharon (Ed) Robson of Elkhorn, NE; grandchildren, Matt (Victoria) Molko, Mike Molko, Erika, Shawn (Brecken) and Aaron Arkle, Cameron and Lauren Maciejewski, Lilly and Grace Robson; great grandsons, Solomon and Ambrose Molko; brothers, Everett (Pat) Lech, Leonard Lech, Marvin (Nancy) Lech, Rolland (Eileen) Lech, sisters-in-law, Harriet Kisicki, Nancy and Gladys Maciejewski and brother-in-law Darryl Roberts and many nieces and nephews.
