Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, May 22, 1931 - pg 1 Lillie Mardell Peters was born October 2, 1914, near Angus, Nebraska, and passed away May 14, 1931 at the Lutheran hospital at York at the age of 16 years, 6 months and 23 days. She had been ill for three weeks and had been confined in the hospital for ten days prior to her dearth. She was the seventh child of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Peters, three sons and four daughters being born to this family. Last year Lillie was a Freshman in the Edgar schools but on account of ill health was compelled to discontinue her school work. Her loss is keenly felt by all her schoolmates who loved her and enjoyed her companionship. Her lovable disposition and her sweet nature endeared her to the host of friends who mourn her early departure. Those remaining to mourn her loss are her father and mother, two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Melvin of Angus and Mrs. Lois Strawser of Edgar, one sister having preceded her in death; three brothers, Clark, Ralph and Robert, all of Edgar, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was baptized on August 27, 1926, into the Christian Church of Angus by her pastor, William D. Nice. Funeral services were held at Angus, at the Christian Church, Saturday, May 16, 1931 at 2:30 p.m. Wm D. Nice of Ansley conducted the services. Interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery.
