Description	:	William August Peters was born at Taylorville, Illinois, January 12, 1875, and passed away at his home in Edgar, Nebraska, April 12, 1950, at the age of 75 years and three months. He was united in marriage to Alice Eliza Crandell December 23, 1896. To this union seven children were born, five of whom survive him. He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Melvin of Edgar and Mrs. Lois Strawser of Lincoln; three sons, Clark Peters of Fort Collins, Colo., Ralph and Robert Peters, both of Edgar; two... Two daughters, Lillie and Ruby/ one brother, Cornelius Peters, and one great grandchild preceded him in death. Following a brief service at the home in Edgar, Saturday, April 14, at 2:00 p.m., the funeral services were held at the Angus Church of Christ at 2:30, in charge of Stewart Pomeroy and E.E. Smith.
