Description	:	Lois Evelyn Nisley Larkins, daughter of Ross and Beryl Nisley, was born July 4, 1926 at Bennet, Nebr., and departed this life March 29, 1969 at the Republic Co. Memorial Hospital at Belleville, Ks. She was a graduate of the Bennet High School and Nebraska Wesleyan University. She was united in marriage to Max Larkins August 8, 1954, and to this union five children were born. They made their home on a farm southwest of Chester. Read More	Lois Evelyn Nisley Larkins, daughter of Ross and Beryl Nisley, was born July 4, 1926 at Bennet, Nebr., and departed this life March 29, 1969 at the Republic Co. Memorial Hospital at Belleville, Ks. She was a graduate of the Bennet High School and Nebraska Wesleyan University. She was united in marriage to Max Larkins August 8, 1954, and to this union five children were born. They made their home on a farm southwest of Chester. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, she was keenly aware and interested in the community and church life. Lois was a 4-H project leader, member of the Excelsior Home Demonstration Unit, member of the Chester United Methodist Church, and active as a Church School teacher, as well as a willing worked with the Mary Circle and Women's Society of Christian Service. Her survivors include her husband, Max; four sons, James, Duane, Kenneth and Dale, and one daughter, Rebecca, all of the home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Nisley of Bennet; two sisters, Mrs. Norman Yates of Geneva and Mrs. Ralph Ficke of Milford; one brother, Ivan Nisley of Bennet; many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was held at the Chester United Methodist Church Monday, March 31, at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Marlon Loftis. Singers were Mrs. Jack Long and Mrs. Maurice Mitchell with Mrs. Richard George organist. The pallbearers were Wm. Mumm, Elmer Holmes, Max Derowitsch, Wilbert Crouse, Neal Eickman, Harold Porter. Interment was in the Chester Cemetery, Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.
