Lois Mae Koppmann, daughter of William E. and Hannah (Moren) Stewart, was born July 9, 1932 in Watertown, South Dakota. She grew up in the Henry area, attended school at Eden #66, where she was a majorette, and then graduated from Henry High School in 1950. Lois was united in marriage to Duane Koppmann on January 6, 1951 in Watertown. She was a serviceman's wife, and a business co-owner, and a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and friend. The couple had celebrated 61 years of marriage. Lois was a member of the Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and a Den mother. Lois loved spending time with her family, especially her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed living at Lake Kampeska, traveling, baking and cooking, and listening to music. Lois enjoyed watching Dancing with the Stars and Wheel of Fortune. Lois is survived by her loving children, Kevin (Kristi) Koppmann of Cannon Falls, MN, Karen Koppmann of Watertown, SD, and Wendy (Mark) DeFea of Milbank, SD; her sisters-in-law, Margie Stewart of Milbank, Elsie Stewart of Sioux Falls, and brother-in-law, Delaine Owen of Watertown;five grandchildren, Chris (Kelly) Koppmann of Cannon Falls, MN. Heather (Mike) Bouska of Woodbury, MN, Brittney (Adam) Pauli of Milbank, SD, Chelsea (Rob) Karlgaard of Fargo, ND, Alex DeFea of Watertown SD; two step-grandchildren, Melissa (Dean) Frank, Denver CO, and Nick Jones of Aurora, CO. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, Delaney, Mackenzie, Carter and Marley, Ella and Adlyn, Isabella, Hannah and Mason, Kyler and Brennan, four step great-grandchildren Emylee and Kaden, Della and Emmet. She was preceded in death by her parent's; her husband Duane; her son, Wade Koppmann; her four brother's, Elton and Glen, Hubert and Robert; and one sister, Lillian Owen. - Wight & Comes Funeral Chapel
