Description	:	Mr. Krakowski was born on a farm near Ashton to Ben and Mary (Stobbe) Krakowski. He grew up and attended District 54 school near Ashton. He married Verla Brundage in Grand Island on Sept. 25, 1954. He was a carpenter all his life. He also worked for the Phillip Martin Construction Co. in Grand Island for 20 years. He also worked in construction in South Dakota and Kansas. He married Esther (Peters) Grudzinski on Oct. 2, 1973, at the All Faiths Church in Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include his wife, Esther, one daughter, Robin (Mrs. Jerry) Graves of Grand Island; three step daugters, Norma (Mrs. Olan) Long of Walla Walla, Wash., Dorothy (Mrs. John) Melzer of High Point, N.C., and Mrs. Gerald Glassic of Lehighton, Pa.; one stepson, Mark Grudzinski of Walla Walla, Wash.; two brothers, Anzel of Loup City and Ben Jr. of Plymouth, In.; two sisters, Joan Sullivan of Rockville and Phyllis McCarville, of Silver Creek; two grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mae Dethlefs; one brother, Leonard Krakowski; two foster children, and two brothers [sic], Harold and Donald Czaplewski.
