Mrs. McKee was born Nov. 17, 1889, on a farm near Tingley, Iowa, one of four children of Ella and Theodore Touzalin. In 1903 she moved with her family to a farm outside Superior and she graduated from Superior High School in 1909, being a member of the first graduating class of the old high school building. For several years she taught school north of Superior. May 19, 1914, she was united in marriage with John Knox McKee. To this union, three children were born. Throughout much of her married life she served as bookkeeper for the McKee Sales Company. She was active in the Reformed Presbyterian Church and was a member of that church at the time of her death. He husband preceded her in death in 1960. Surviving are two sons, Gordon of Superior and Delber of New Wilmington, Pa.; one daughter, Mrs. William Brake (Elizabeth), Arlington, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Ray Young (Edith), Superior; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
