Description	:	Mrs. Louisa Ann Spargur, 61, died at her home here at 2:05 a.m. Monday after an illness of several months from heart disease which was complicated by an attack of influenza. She resided all of her life in this community. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Fessler & Sutphen Funeral Home with Rev. Martin Keast in charge. Burial was made in the Villisca Cemetery. Music for the services was furnished by Miss eva Arbuckle, Mrs. Anna Freeman, and Mrs. G. W. Kitchen. Relatives acted as pall bearers. Mrs. Spargur was born October 22, 1869 in this community and lived here all of her life. She was married July 31, 1889 to John B. Spargur in Villisca, Iowa and to this union seven children were born, all of whom survive the mother. She leaves her husband and five daughters and two sons, who are Mrs. B. H. Cohoon, Mrs. Albert Neal, Mrs. R. C. Darold, and Mrs. Rulo Hartenstein of Villisca, Mrs. S. C. Ashmore, of Greenfield, Iowa, Merle Spargur of Villisca and Irvin Spargur of Custer, South Dakota. She is also survived by one brother, Fred Overman of Orion Kansas and one sister, Mrs. Chas Spargur of Shenandoah, eighteen grandchildren also survive. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Spargur of Shenandoah, and Mrs. and Mrs. S. C. Ashmore and son Merwin of Greenfield, Iowa were among those from out of town who were here for the funeral.
