Stewart in Corning, her death resulting from heart trouble. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Sutphen Funeral Home in Villisca and interment in Villisca Cemetery. Rev. F. W. Lois Esther Colleman was born April 23, 1866 at Yorkville, Illinois, the daughter of Augustus Francis and Martha Francelia Beecher Collman, and came with her family to Adams County when a small child. She was married to Fred C. Reese of Corning on February 9, 1888, and to them were born seven children: Charles A Reese, Red Oak, Miss Dora reese, Grand Rapids, Michigan; Mrs. M. J. Stewart, Mrs. Milo Latimer, and Mrs. Donald Strickler, Corning; Mrs. Ray Chadwick, Nevada, and Francis Reese, Clarinda. The Reese family moved to Villisca from Corning in 1920 and made their home and following her husband’s death in 1933, MRs. Reese continued to reside at her home on North Third Avenue until in January when, because of ill health, she went to the home of her daughter in Corning.
