SIEMERS DIES SUDDENLY; LAID TO REST MONDAY ------ Young Bowbells Matron Gives Own Life Few Minutes After Giving Birth To Baby Boy; Child Lives ------ The Bowbells community was saddened Friday when it was learned that Mrs. Louise Siemers, wife of Ferdinand Siemers of near Bowbells and mother of eight had given her life to give birth to a baby boy. She died suddenly a few moments after her baby was born early Friday morning. The baby lives and is well. Mrs. Louise Augustia Siemers, the only daughter of Ferdinand and Regina Redmer was born in Kremzhoffb biy Stargadt, Germany, March 4, 1888. In 1892 she came to America with her parents. The family on their arrival to America went to Paynesville, Minn., where they remained until 1898 at which time they came to Bowbells, N.D. In 1906 she was united in marriage to Ferdinand Siemers. To this union were born eight children; three daughters, Elsie, Luella, and Helen, and five sons, Edward, Victor, Raymond, Harry and little three day old Ferdinand William junior. She died May 21, 1927, at the age of 39 years, 2 months and 7 days. Left to mourn her sadden departure are, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Ferd. Redmer, her devoted husband, Ferd Siemers, her eight children, one grand-daughter, five brothera, with their wives and families and a host of intimate family and other relatives.
