Visitation will begin one hour before services at the church. Elsie was born June 23, 1907, in Bowbells on the family homestead, the daughter of Ferdinand and Louise Siemers, German immigrants. Since 1988 she has been a resident of the Good Samaritan Home in Mohall. She was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church, which later became United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Lakeside Homemakers Club. She is survived by her sister, Helen Durick, Columbus; two brothers, Ray Siemers, Bowbells, and Ferdinand Siemers, Long Beach, Calif.; 18 grandchildren, Tim Bryan and his wife, Colette, Bowbells, Laureen Bryan and her husband, Arlen Ruff, Mandan, Carolyn Bryan, Bismarck, Sheila Tang and her husband, Keith, Mosinee, Wis., Brenda Kumagai and her husband, Randy, Glendale, Ariz., Leigh Porter, Atascadero, Calif., George Hilts and his wife, Jean, Bismarck, Hal Hilts and his wife, Donna, Bend, Ore., Cassie Hilts, Grand Forks, Lisa Hilts and her husband, Rod Beck, Stillwater, Minn., Nan Hilts, Grand Forks, Tina Hilts, Venice, Calif., Mauri Hilts and her husband, James Olsen, Devils Lake, Toni Hilts, Northglenn, Colo., Georgia Knoke and her husband, Scott, Devils Lake, Bill Hilts, Mt. Vernon, Wash., Marci Hilts, Grand Forks, and Monica Hilts, Chicago; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two daughters, Regina Bryan and Flora Hilts; one sister, Luella Green; three brothers, Edmond, Harry and Victor; and two great-grandchildren.
