Description	:	Louise F. Kruse, 86, Atchison, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at Medicalodge of Atchison. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton, with the Rev. Rick Twenhafel officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Church Cemetery, Easton. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society and can be left in care of the funeral home. Mrs. Kruse was born Jan. 23, 1917, in Easton, the daughter of E. H. and Ida (Lohman) Nieman. She attended No. 6 grade school near Easton and graduated from Easton High School in 1935. She lived on the farm where she was born until 1963, when she moved to Lansing. She moved to Atchison in 1996. She was a nurse's aide at Cushing Hospital, Leavenworth, for 25 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Easton, and the church's Ladies Aid. She married Roy Klem on June 18, 1935. He was in the Navy and was lost at sea when the USS Houston went down in the Java Sea on Feb. 28, 1942. She married Fred Kruse on Aug. 2, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1988. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Carrie Rohrbach, Norma Bordon and Leotha Holman; and a step grandson, Barry Sullivan. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Morrow, Santa Ana, Calif., and Patricia Jurtin, Dallas, Ore., one step-daughter, Marie Sullivan, Atchison; three grandchildren; five step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nine step great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two step great-great-grandchildren.
