Read More	MIDLAND NEWS February 01, 1995 Valentine Cherry County Nebraska Lowell Wayne Belville Lowell Wayne Belville was born Feb. 28, 1928, seven miles south west of Valentine, NE. He was the oldest of six children born to Clifford and Myertle Hale Belville. He attended country school, Valentine elementary and high school. Lowell married Georgia E. Pearsen on Sept. 14, 1947 in Valentine NE. This union was blessed with two daughters Virginia Kaye and Cynthia Rae, and one son, Lowell Wayne II. Lowell was a partner in the Belville construction and Concrete business from 1947 to 1963 when the family moved to the Pearsen Ranch. He and Georgia purchased the ranch in 1979. Lowell's hobbies and special interests included fishing, hunting, woodworking, gardening, canning and cooking. He especially enjoyed "The Hayfield," family and loved people. Lowell was a Board Member of the Cherry County Ag Society and Past President of the Cherry County Extension Board. he was also a Life Time Honorary Alumni of the FFA and received the Appreciation Award for 1991 - 1992. Lowell belonged to the United Methodist Church and served on various committees over the past several years. Lowell was preceded in death by his father, Cliff in 1963, his mother Myrtle in 1980, brothers Cliffie in 1974 and Dewey in 1977 and grandson, michael Scott Elliott in 1970. Lowell died at his ranch home on Jan. 18, 1995. He is survived by his wife Georgia, their three children; daughters, Virginia Elliott and husband Ron, Cindy Yenglin and husband Elliot and son Wayne and wife Cathie all of Valentine, seven grandchilden Shawn Elliott, Debra Elliott Long and husband Zane, April, Brooke and Bryce Yenglin, and Christina and Nancy Belville. He is also survived by his brother, Russell Belville and wife Romelia of Chandler, AZ and sister, Dorothy Lord and husband Aubrey of Valentine and Sandra Mix of Lincoln. Funeral services for Lowell Belville were held Saturday, Jan . 21, 1995 at the United Methodist Church in Valentine. REV. Carroll Plisek, REV. Mark Schutt and Fr. Carl Ferris, officiated at the 11:00 a. m. service. Interment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery. Sandoz' Chapel of the Pines was in charge of the arrangements.
