A native of Nashville, Tennessee, he was one of the most popular entertainers to grace the stage at the WWVA Jamboree that was held in Wheeling, West Virginia, for many years. Born Loye Donald Pack he was a ranch hand in Nebraska before turning to music. He worked with another country singer named 'Just Plain John,' but never actually released an album. Noted as an old time radio singer on many radio stations during the 1920s, 1930s, and early 1940s, some of his songs include, 'Aunt Dinah's Quilting Party,' 'Will The Circle Be Unbroken,' 'Lorena,' 'Meet Mother In...
