Description	:	Lucinda Brown Was born in Indiana Sept. 16, 1848. She was united in marriage to Andrew Randels in Illinios, Aug. 17 1871. To this union was born 12 children, ten of whom are still living. The children present at the funeral: Mrs Alta Larkins, Mrs Zula Thompson, Red (Fredrick) Randels, Mrs Adah Hussey, Mrs Martha Eickman, Mrs Ida Lucinda Atkinson all of Chester; and James Randels of Overbrook, KS, Mrs Effie Hindman of Solomon, KS, Mrs Fannie Spafford of Ft. Morgan, CO, Charlies Randels of Park, KS. Besides her husband and children she is mourned by 42 grandchildren and great grandchild, two brothers, John C. Brown of Chester and David W. Brown of Alberta, Canada, and three sisters Mrs Abigail Boger of Seibert, CO, Mrs Rosa Morey of Lenora, KS, Mrs Arminda Cooper of Galena, KS. Mrs Randels united with the Christian church at the age of 17, Later in life, afer coming to Kansas, she was united with the United Brethren church, which, was thirty years ago. She has always been faithful christan. She was kind and loving mother and loved by all who knew her. After thirtyfive years residence in Republic Co, KS, they moved to Chester three years ago. She has been in poor health four prior to that and two years ago suffered a stroke, which affected her eyesite. She had also suffered afflidtion from necrosis of the bone which ultimately caused her death, and from which she had suffered intensely bur patiently, and passed on from this life into peace eternal last Saturday.
