Description	:	VESUVIUS-Lucy Campbell Groah, of Vesuvius, died Sunday (Oct. 20, 1996) at Shenandoah Valley Health Care Facility, Buena Vista. She was born in Augusta County, the daughter of the late Ruffner Lyle and Ella Janette Cash Campbell. She was a member of Vesuvius Baptist Church and the widow of George Groah. Surviving are one daughter, Jane G. Cullen of Vesuvius; one son, Lenwood W. Groah of Staunton; three brothers, Everett Ray Campbell of Spottswood, Malcolm D. Campbell of New Hope and Richard D. Campbell of Lyndhurst; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Vesuvius Baptist Church... There will be no family night at the funeral home and friends may call at either the son's or daughters' home at any time. Active pallbearers will be C. T. Cash Jr., Everett Cash Jr., Donnie Campbell, Roger Campbell, Junior Groah and Melvin Groah. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to an SPCA of your choice or the Lane Fund at Vesuvius Baptist Church. Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington, is is charge of arrangements.
