Description	:	Luella E. Plassman, 85, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011, at the Toledo Hospital. She was born July 1, 1925, in Napoleon Township, Henry County, to the late Emil J. and Emma (Freytag) Panning. On April 16, 1950, she married Alfred G. Plassman and he passed away on March 5, 2010. Read More	Luella E. Plassman, 85, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011, at the Toledo Hospital. She was born July 1, 1925, in Napoleon Township, Henry County, to the late Emil J. and Emma (Freytag) Panning. On April 16, 1950, she married Alfred G. Plassman and he passed away on March 5, 2010. Luella was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township, where she served as secretary of the Sunday school and was a Sunday school teacher. She was active in the Women of L.I.F.E, the Sewing Group, and the Altar Guild. She also served on the Filling Home Guild. She is survived by two sons, Robert (Nancy) Plassman of Defiance, Ohio, and Thomas (Joy) Plassman of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Esther Panning of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Edwin (Betty) Panning of Napoleon, Ohio, and Rev. Eldor (Linnie) Panning of Columbus, Ohio; five grandchildren Andrew, Matthew, Nathan, Emily and Megan Plassman. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Schwiebert; and a brother, Paul Panning. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home of Napoleon and on Friday for one hour prior to services at the church. Services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township, with the Rev. Franklin Hays officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
