Beavers, was born near Knoxville, Knox County, Illinois, on October 1, 1876, and died at the farm home south of Villisca, November 12, 1939 at the age of 63. She lived in Illinois until she was 3 years of age when she moved with her parents to Villisca, living with her parents until their death and continuing to reside on the home farm till the time of her passing. Beavers, was born near Knoxville, Knox County, Illinois, on October 1, 1876, and died at the farm home south of Villisca, November 12, 1939 at the age of 63. She lived in Illinois until she was 3 years of age when she moved with her parents to Villisca, living with her parents until their death and continuing to reside on the home farm till the time of her passing. Her illness made it necessary for her to be confined to her bed for the last seven months. She is survived by three brothers and two sisters, J. E. Beaver of Villisca; C. E. Beavers and Emma Beavers at the home, W. L. Beavers of Hepburn, and Alta M. Whitney of Clarinda. Besides these there are 3 aunts, several cousins, 1 nephew, and 10 nieces. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the home, with Rev. E. M. Buehler in charge. The singing was by MRs. Don G. Hainey, accompanied by Mrs. H. H Nordyke and the pall bearers were Frank Depuey, Jack Beavers, Harry Slack, Lee Lovelace, G. S. Jamison, and Tom Dyke. Burial was in the Villisca Cemetery.
