Description	:	The death of Mrs. T. H. Beavers took place Tuesday at 8:20 a.m. at her home four and one half miles south of Villisca. She had been sick for a year with asthma and a complication of diseases, gradually becoming worse until her demise. Sarah Amanda Painter was born in Highland County, Ohio January 25, 1852. She had been sick for a year with asthma and a complication of diseases, gradually becoming worse until her demise. Sarah Amanda Painter was born in Highland County, Ohio January 25, 1852. When sixteen years of age she came with her parents to Illinois and settled near Yates City. She was married there January 25, 1875 to Thomas Hamer Beavers. In the spring of 1880, the family came to this section and have since lived near Villisca. Nine children were born to Mrs. and Mrs. Beavers. Two died in infancy and one son Harry E. died at the age of eighteen. The husband and six sons and daughter survive as follows, Lula E., Estele E., Emma J., at home; Joseph F., who lives south of Villisca; Mrs. Alta Witney, of near Yorktown, and Walter L., in U. S. Service at College Station, Texas. The funeral was held Thursday at 2:30 a.m. from the home and was conducted by Rev. E. S. Monomer, of Villisca M. E. Church. Interment was in the Villisca Cemetery. The many friends of Mrs. Beavers in the community where she lived deeply mourn her departure and extend their heartfelt sympathy to the husband and children.
