A Brother Prestice Russell of Reasnor; 3 Sisters: Dolly Roack, Reba Young of Illinois; Amy Young of Monticello, Kenntucky. Preceded in death by her parents, a brother, a sister, 2 daughters, 2 grandsons, and 2 great-grandsons. She was a member of the United Church of Ira, the Baxter Senior Citizens and the Ira CWS. Mrs. Hopkings was a cook in the Ira School for several years, was an employee of the Maytag Co. in Newton and with her husband farmed in Jasper County. The daughter of Willis & Mary Ann [Turner] Russell, she was born March 1903 in Monticello, Kentucky. She was married to William Hopkins January 28, 1924 in Tennessee. She was raised and educated in Kentucky and moved to Iowa in 1925 after her marriage. She had resided in Ira, Iowa for the past year and a half.
