Description	:	Mrs. Lura Sullivan Lura May Purrington was born in Albany, Wis. on February 27, 1882 to Alonzo C. and Julia Ann Purrington. At the age of four she moved with her parents to Beemer where she lived until 10 years ago. She graduated from Beemer High School and was united in Marriage to Edward Allen Sullivan and to this union seven children were born. Her husband preceded her in death on March 23, 1921. Read More	Mrs. Lura Sullivan Lura May Purrington was born in Albany, Wis. on February 27, 1882 to Alonzo C. and Julia Ann Purrington. At the age of four she moved with her parents to Beemer where she lived until 10 years ago. She graduated from Beemer High School and was united in Marriage to Edward Allen Sullivan and to this union seven children were born. Her husband preceded her in death on March 23, 1921. On November 11, 1930 she moved, with her younger children to Boulder, Colo. where she lived until her death on March 26, 1941, aged 59 years. She is survived by her 7 children, Allen E. of Beemer, Herbert T. of Grand Island, Dwight R. of Idaho springs, Colo., Mrs. Gladys Peterson Cheater, Warren, of Boulder Colo. and Erva of Denver Colo. a sister Mrs. R.E. Wiegert of Beemer and two brothers Andrew of Sunnyside Wash. and Tracy J. of St. Lawrence, So. Dak. Two grandchildren, Sherry Sullivan of Grand Island and Robert Peterson of Boulder Colo. Besides her family she leaves a wide circle of dear friends and fellow churchmen who mourn her passing. Funeral services were held here Saturday, March 29, at 2:30 o'clock from the Methodist church, Rev. Galbraith and Mrs. Edw. Baas sang the hymns accompanied by Mrs. Dean Badger. Pall bearers were Philip Baas, Bert Fehliman, Fred Buhk, Heran Conrad, Jesse Coheeand Clarence Galbraith. Interment was in the local cemetery. Among those from out of town who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Milton Wiegert, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wiegert of Plainview, Mr. and Mrs. A. Modhorst and Daughter Lorina of Pierce, Mr. and Mrs M.J. Sullivan of Norfolk, Dr. and Mrs. G. Sullivan of St. Edwards. Tracy J. Purrington of St. Lawrence, So. Dak. and Mrs. Julia Carl of St. Lawrence, So. Dak.
