Baumer in Emporia, Ks., September 26, 1918, at the age of 91 years, 3 months and a day. At the age of nine years, she moved with her parents to the state of Illinois where she grew to womanhood. In June of 1849 she was married to Mr. Gilbert F. Fuller, and thirty-six years later moved to Glasco, Kans. settling on a farm four miles from that place. Two years later, in 1884, the husband passed away, and in 1902 Mrs. Fuller moved with her family to Butler county, where she remained for two years, then returning to Minneapolis, where she kept house for her three sons, who were still at home. Because of the enfeebled condition of her health she has lived for the last year or so with one or the other of her daughters, Mrs. A. Warren if Minneapolis and Mrs. B.F. Baumer of Emporia. Besides her daughters she leaves six sons, Joseph of Niles, Mich.; G.L. of Glasco, Kans.; and Denman, Isaac, Elmer and William of Minneapolis. Mrs. Fuller joined to Methodist church at the age of fourteen, and was faithful to its teachings of Christianity for 77 years. Her home was always the stopping place for the Christian worker and pioneer preacher, and soon became known as a place of open hospitality, where rich service could be obtained for anyone who might need a friendly hand. In the earlier days of her early life, she had the rare privilege of entertaining Peter Cartwright in her home. The funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Glasco on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 2 o'clock p.m. in charge of her pastor, Rev. Cooke of Minneapolis. The music was beautifully rendered by members of the Glasco Methodist church, and the pall bearers were men chosen from the same church.
