After a number of years of suffering, she was stricken with paralysis Saturday evening from which she did not regain consciousness. She had resided in this state for thirty years. Byerley Moss, aged seventy years, wife of Joshua H. Moss died Sunday evening at 2:25 o'clock at the home in Nelson, Nebraska. After a number of years of suffering, she was stricken with paralysis Saturday evening from which she did not regain consciousness. She had resided in this state for thirty years. She leaves besides her husband, five sons and four daughters, together with four brothers and one sister, and a host of friends to mourn her decease. She had lived a christian life from childhood, her later life being associated with the Evangelical Association at the Pleasant Divide school house west of Nelson. The children surviving the mother are: Thressa May Collins, Lawrence; Laura Cloud, Stapleton; David Moss, Lawrence; George Moss, Nelson; William Moss, Miller; John Moss, Angus; Elsie Shurtleff, Nora; Adie Schufeldt, Hyannis, James Moss, Decatur. All were present at the funeral except Laura. The funeral was held from the Methodist church in Nelson, Wednesday at eleven o'clock, the pastor J.F. Yost officiating.
