Description	:	Funeral services for Lyda McCoy, 70, were held Tuesday, July 17, 1962 at 2:00 p.m. from the Wolfe Funeral Home with the Rev. George Snyder officiating. Mrs. Mabel Dunn accompanied Mrs. Frances Gray in the following vocal selection, “Have Thine Own Way Lord” and “Shadows.” Flower bearers were Mrs. Clara Easterlie and Mrs. Clara Overman. Aldridge, daughter of Joseph E. and Mary M. Ray Aldridge, was born September 26, 1891 at Pender, Nebraska and passed away at the Villisca Nursing Home, Villisca, Iowa on Sunday, July 15, 1962 at the age of 70 years. Her parents moved to Villisca when she was a small child. She graduated from Villisca High School in the class of 1912 and was united in marriage to Vernon McCoy at Villisca on March 25, 1914. The home was established in Villisca and later they moved to Glenwood, Iowa, where Mr. McCoy was for many years managers of the Fullerton Lumber Company. Mr. McCoy passed away fifteen years ago and Mrs. McCoy continued to make her home in Glenwood until her illness, six and a half years ago, when she came to the Villisca Nursing Home. In Glenwood she was a member of the Methodist Church, the Eastern Star, and P. E. O. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Margery King.
