Description	:	MRS. FRANK KING Margie O. King was born on March 4, 1884 at Pended, Nebraska and died at her home June 23, 1952, at the age of 58 years. Preceding her death, Mrs. King had written a letter stating her wishes for the funeral arrangements and in so far as possible were carried out. After being graduated from the Villisca High School in 1912, Marg, as she was known to her friends taught school for several ears. On July 9, 1917 she was united in marriage to Frank King and for 32 years they made their home in this community.... Read More	MRS. FRANK KING Margie O. King was born on March 4, 1884 at Pended, Nebraska and died at her home June 23, 1952, at the age of 58 years. Preceding her death, Mrs. King had written a letter stating her wishes for the funeral arrangements and in so far as possible were carried out. After being graduated from the Villisca High School in 1912, Marg, as she was known to her friends taught school for several ears. On July 9, 1917 she was united in marriage to Frank King and for 32 years they made their home in this community. To this union were born two children, Robert, who had been in the service of his country for the past several years and is now stationed at Montgomery, Alabama; and Joan,, who with her husband reside in Villisca. Mrs. King will be remembered as a faithful and loving wife and mother and will be greatly missed by her loved ones. To her friends she will be remembered as a long time member of the Methodist Church and as taking an active part in the work of the church in Morton Mills Community. She was also active in the work of the Legion Auxillary. Surviving are her husband, Frank, their children, Robert and Joan, her mother, Mrs. Mary Aldridge of Villisca; her two sisters, Ida McCoy of Glenwood and Mrs. Adia Moates of Villisca, besides other relatives and a host of friends. The funeral was held Thursday June 26, at the methodist Church in Villisca, conducted by the Rev. Herbert I. Anderson of Griswold and Rev. Everett H. Staats of Villisca. Wolfe Funeral home in charge of arrangements. The singing was by Cecil Weaver, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Frances Wheeler and flower bearers were Mrs. Clemmie Oliver, Mrs. Ethelda Tyler and Mrs. Ethel Bashaw. Pall bearers were Arthur Talbot, Harlan Kerr, Art Bergren, Willis Peterman, Joe Oliver, and Yale Wright, and burial was in the Villisca Cemetery. Villisca Review, Thursday, June 26, 1952, page 2
