Jasper, of near Tunis, at 1:30 p.m., death being due to peritonitis. The passing of this young man was doubly sad as he followed in death his father, Jacob H. Jasper, who died at the ranch just three weeks to a day before the son passed away. Lynus was brought to the local hospital just four days before he passed away, suffering from stomach trouble. After being brought to the hospital it was decided to operate on him and then it was discovered peritonitis had already set in and very little hopes were held out for his recovery. Lynus had been in rather poor health and suffered with stomach trouble for the past several months. Lynus Herbert Jasper was born at St. Paul, Minn., April 13, 1909, and passed away at the local hospital on May 5, 1933, being 24 years and 22 days of age . He spent his early years in Minnesota, coming to Montana and this county in 1919, where he has since resided. He is survived by his mother and by one brother, J. H. , who lives at home; and two sisters, Mrs. J. Keating, of Great Falls, and Mrs. H. Smith, of Seattle, besides other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Catholic church on Monday morning at 10 o'clock. The services were attended by a large number of friends who gathered to pay their last respects to his memory. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery beside the father who had recently passed away. The community extends its heartfelt sympathy to the mother and the brother and sisters in this their double hour of bereavement.
