Description	:	Mrs. Ralph (Mabel) Roy, 83, of Huron and formerly of Groton, died Sunday, May 13, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Services were held Wednesday, May 15, at 2 p.m., in the First United Methodist Church Chapel, Huron, with the Rev. K. Oliver Brekke officiating. Burial was in Restlawn Memory Garden in Huron. Read More	Mrs. Ralph (Mabel) Roy, 83, of Huron and formerly of Groton, died Sunday, May 13, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Services were held Wednesday, May 15, at 2 p.m., in the First United Methodist Church Chapel, Huron, with the Rev. K. Oliver Brekke officiating. Burial was in Restlawn Memory Garden in Huron. Mabel Blader was born September 2, 1900, to Fred and Amelia Blader at Groton. She grew up here and graduated from Groton High School. She attended Asbury School of Nursing, Minneapolis, Minn., for one year, then spent two years at Lincoln Hospital, Aberdeen graduating in March 1923. On June 6, 1923, she married Ralph Roy at Groton and they lived at Groton for one year before moving to Huron in 1924 where she had resided since. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Huron, United Methodist Women and Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include one brother, Milton, Minneapolis, Minn.; and three sisters, Margaret and Myrtle Blader, both of Groton; and Mrs. Kermit (Jeanette) Blader Reid, New York City, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 31, 1970 and her parents, two sisters, Adeline Rod and an infant sister.
