Description	:	Ref: Mrs. Mabel F. McVey, 71, 2634 Avenue I, died at 12:53 p.m. Wednesday, Sep. 17, at her home. Death terminated an illness of 12 weeks. Mrs. McVey was born Aug. 31, 1887, at Keosauqua, and had lived here since 1911. On Dec. 5, 1905, at Keosauqua, she was married to Guy F. McVey, who survives. Active in church work, she was a member of the Santa Fe Methodist church, the Woman's Society of Christian Service of the church and the W. C. T. U. of Fort Madison. Jameson, Muscatine, IA, and William O. Jameson, Keosauqua, IA; and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Comstock, Galesburg, IL. Eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by one son and by one daughter. The body is at the Hall Funeral Home will the final rites will be at 2 p.m., Saturday. The Rev. Lawrence E. Jones will officiate.
