Born on Dec. 2, 1920 in Issue, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian Fowler Shorter. Mrs. Rollins as a member of St. Michael's Church in Ridge and the Ladies of Charity. Mrs. Rollins is survived by four children, Patricia A. Pulliam of St.Inigoes, Sharon L. Strickland of Great Mills, Bonnie M. Fairfax and Richard T. Rollins both of Lexington Park; three sisters, Helen Lancaster and Viola Hill both of Rockpoint and Mildred Blacklock of Bel Alton, a brother, Donald Shorter of Bel Alton; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hal Rollins, who died Jan. 1, 1992; a son, Robert M. Rollins, and a brother, Thomas Shorter The family will receive friends on Sunday, Jan. 24 from 3 to 6 p.m. at St. Michael's Church in Ridge, where prayers will be recited at 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 25 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Church. Rev. Karl A. Chimiak, pastor, will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Troy Pulliam, Bart Pulliam, Norman Strickland, Eric Wood, Richard Rollins and Jeff Fairfax. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Strickland, David Fairfax and Steven Rollins. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's School, P.O. Box 429, Ridge 20680.
