To this union 8 children were born: Mrs. Chris (Lois) Mumford of Stamford, Nebraska, Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Nickolls of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs. Dale (Charleen) Adcock of Superior, Nebraska, Mr. Gene Holsteen of Nelson, Nebraska, Mrs. Dick (Shirley) Janssen of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mrs. James (Vonna) Firestone of Rawlins, Wyoming and 2 children who died in infancy. She has resided in the Nelson vicinity since her marriage. She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers, Lee and Willard Campbell. Survivors include her 5 daughters, 1 son, 19 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 sisters: Fannie Schwartz of Elsinore, California, Mrs. Myrna Harvey of Kansas City, Kansas and Mrs. Gladys Mitchell of Lincoln, Nebraska and 1 brother, Roy Campbell of Ruskin, Nebraska. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 21, 1970 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Nelson, Nebraska. The Rev. L.A. Hansen officiated. Casket bearers were Harold Mitchell, Morris Mitchell, Lester Schaffer, Jerry Campbell, Bob Campbell and Gene Campbell. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery, Nelson, Nebraska. Arrangements were by the Klawitter Funeral Home, Nelson, Nebraska. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. George Frankanys; Mr. and Mrs. C.W.
