Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Chaney, and husband, Roy; three sons, Jerry Owens, Robert Norris, and wife, Janie, all of Lawrence, Edward Norris, Chicago, IL; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great granddaughters; many nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Mary Bailey, Chandler, AZ, and Norma Gunn, Lawrence. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Owens; two brothers, John and James Connett; and one sister, Ellen Shobe. The family will greet friends from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
