Description	:	Mae A. Walters, 87 Mae A, Walters, 87, of Batesville, Ark., formerly of Marshalltown, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at the Batesville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Estel-Perrin-Avey Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Rock Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to receive friends. She married Verlin Walters in Colorado. They lived in Salem, Ore. Following her husband`s death in 1957, she returned to Marshalltown and lived there February of this year when she moved to Arkansas. She had been employed by the Downtowner restaurant and the Tremont Grill. She was a member of the Open Bible Church. Survivors included two sons, Roy of Locust Grove, Ark. and Carl of Marshalltown; a daughter Donna Walters of Marshalltown; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; two brothers, Rondo Ash of Marshalltown and Herbert Ash of Marshalltown; and a sister, Rosie York of Ames. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
