Description	:	Magdelyn Routh, 90 of Chappell, Nebraska died Wednesday morning, September 19, 2007 at the Memorial Health Center in Sidney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 22, 2007 in the Zion Lutheran Church in Chappell with Pastor Philip Found officiating. Burial will follow in the Chappell Cemetery. Magdelyn Augustus Routh, the daughter of Hans and Amanda (Beal) Einspahr was born May 1, 1917 on a farm near Kenesaw, Nebraska. After her mother's death, she and her brother Amandus and sister Hulda were raised by their uncle, Frank Lukow in Holstein, Nebraska. She attended the Holstein schools, graduating from Holstein High School. After graduation, she attended two years of college at Nebraska State Teachers College in Kearney, Nebraska. She then taught in country schools near Holstein. On October 15, 1938 she was united in marriage to Curtiss W Routh at Hastings, Nebraska, and made their home on farms near Holstein where a son, Larry and a daughter LaDell were born. The family then moved to Minden, Nebraska where they ran a General Electric Store before moving to Chappell in the summer of 1951 when Curtiss was transferred by Kansas-Nebraska, for whom he worked. In Chappell, two more daughters were born, LuAnn and Lanae. In the summer of 1961, they purchased the Sweden Crème Drive In. After her husbands retirement in 1983 they sold the drive in and spent the winters in Apache Junction, Arizona. Magdelyn was a longtime member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include her husband Curtiss Routh of Chappell, NE; one son, Larry and wife Caroline Routh of Lincoln, NE; three daughters: LaDell Stonecipher of Stockton, CA, LuAnn and husband Bobby Wiskera of Highland Village, TX and Lanae Routh of Watauga, TX; seven grandchildren: Brian and Alexa Beutler Stonecipher, Scott and Judi Stonecipher, Kristi and Michael Robey, Curtiss Routh, Allen Wiskera, Emily Wiskera and Rick Hecker; and four great-grandchildren: Chloe Tomiko Stonecipher, Willa Beutler Stonecipher, Lillie Akemi Stonecipher and Lauren Kristine Robey. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and four brothers.
