JOHN MOHLER PASSES AWAY Mrs. John Mohler died at ten o'clock this morning at her home at 402 West Briggs street. She was taken ill ten days ago and her condition was regarded as serious from the beginning, her afflication (sic) being inflamation of the bowels. Mrs. Mohler was born in Indiana July 21st. 1848 (sic. 1847 per J.C. genealogy sources). She came to Fairfield before the war and has made her home here since. She was married to Will Clarke (sic. William J. Clark) who passed away four years ago. She was united in marriage to John Mohler last November (sic. November 12, 1912). She is survived by her husband, an adopted daughter Miss Coda Farman of Kansas City, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Sutton of Bloomington, Ind., Mrs. J. M. Hollis and Julia Ong of California. She was born and reared a Lutheran and was a member of the Fairfield English Lutheran church at the time of her death. The funeral services will be held on Monday at ten a.m., at the residence. Rev. Sunberg of the Lutheran church of Ottumwa will conduct the services.
